When a young soldier (Tyrese Gibson), newly returned from war, gets caught up in a drug bust, he is recruited by the authorities to go undercover in a notoriously dangerous prison to investigate what is really going on behind the scenes. When he discovers an underground prisoner fighting ring, the warden forces him to compete. In order to win his freedom, he must fight to stay alive as well as take down the warden's corrupt system.

Ranging from preachy to lazy to flat-out ridiculous, this prison-fight drama benefits from committed work by Gibson and Howard, but they can't overcome saggy storytelling and uninspired filmmaking.

This movie is ALL action!!! Great acting. Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The characters Savage and Bones were fantastic. Ruthless!!! You must pay close attention. I want to see it again.

Honestly, this movie is trash. You must force yourself to suspend disbelief in order to continue watching more than 15 minutes. The setup is extremely poor, and the execution is lacking. Everything from the acting to the camera work is suspect. Low production value. Awful, cheesy dialogue and UNBELIEVABLE scenarios... it's clear the writer and director did zero homework. Ugh.

Synopsis
