Don't know why all the low scores. Extremely creepy in certain scenes. They could have gone further explaining where this creature came from and a background that could make a creepy monster even creepier. At first it looked like an Alien ripoff but as we saw more of the creature it looked like an original idea which is good. Overall very spooky... And I'm an old school horror aficionado so I know from where I speak. One of the better movies I've seen in a while... Always looking for something new and Interesting....

Newt Salamander's Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them (in a watertank on your family's long-forgotten Oregon beachfront property). This movie made me axolotl questions and it didn't havalotl answers. At least the mom was badass.

The hour and more it takes The Tank to properly get the monsters on stage is an unintentionally funny slog with not enough happening and no character development to hold our attention. But when the beasties turn up, they almost make it all worthwhile.
