See more Dan S. @Deadhead-Dan10 11h Very good WW2 movie that combines elements of Fury and Saving Private Ryan, as well as All Quiet on Western Front and some Thin Red Line (with the “German Tom Hardy” guy’s flashbacks. All in all not as intense or impactful of those top echelon war films, but this one does just fine. I watched with relatives on New Years (One Battle After Another was a little too “R” for mixed crowd) with 19-year old daughter up to in-laws in 70s. Everyone was pretty into it. Very good but not “amazing”, still a “recommend” for any action/war film fan. But this movie accomplishes that. All countries could learn a lesson from Germany and be honest about assessing our own flaws. See more Read all reviews
