Eager young French peasant D'Artagnan (Walter Abel) journeys to Paris with a letter of introduction to his godfather, Capt. de Treveille, to realize his dream of becoming a King's Musketeer. After challenging Musketeers Athos (Paul Lukas), Porthos (Moroni Olsen) and Aramis (Onslow Stevens) to duels, D'Artagnan assists them in fighting Cardinal Richelieu's guard.
