Pure SLAP stick comedy and from these guys its almost all about slapping, punching, poking or pushing. Not the funniest Stooge film I have ever seen, the title says it all. Pure pandamonium in the court, where Gale Tempest, yuk yuk yuk, is up for murder one.

3 Stooge comedy has practically become a sub-genre of comedy to itself. Kids grow up on it and adults still proudly profess to be great fans. Probably the longest running comedy team in the history of cinema, silent or talkie. Of course, Curly

this the original movie trio, have found themselves witness to a crime that dancer Gale Tempest

is accused of murder. All filmed inside the courthouse and the courtroom, the Stooges have a parrot that produces the real murderer, but not after total Disorder in the Court prevails.

Great for late night comedy, fans of the Stooges or just about anyone under 99 that can tolerate the visual humor.
NOTES about the film:
1 Disorder in the Court is the 15th short subject starring American slapstick comedy team the Three Stooges. The trio made a total of 190 shorts for Columbia Pictures between 1934 and 1959.
2 While most everyone believes Curly (the bald one) was an original Stooge, word has it that in theatre Shemp was the first who then rejoined the group replacing Curly.
3 A colorized version of this film was released in 2006; it was part of the DVD collection entitled "Stooges on the Run."
4 Sol and Jenny Horwitz, the parents of Moe, Curly, and Shemp Howard, make uncredited appearances as members of the public audience.
