Ryan C Sep 29 The Threshing Floor is one, if not, the most inspiring and powerful documentaries I have ever seen! The documentary follows the life of Tim Arrigo, highlighting his struggle with drug addiction and how he was able to pull himself out of that world with God’s power of healing, hope, and spiritual renewal. Although this documentary highlights Tim and his journey with drugs and addiction as the foundation, this parallels so many insights to struggles that everyone faces. One of the most powerful takeaways from this movie is portraying the root problem and cause of addiction. Everyone wants to demonize drugs, but what leaves someone susceptible to having an unhealthy relationship with drugs? In there lies the key, it is relationships. Whether it is friendships, work, marriages, drugs, etc…it is through the mercy of God and his ability to work through any situation to heal people and relationships. At the core, everyone wants love and acceptance. It is within that core that most search in all the wrong places for it. This profound breath of fresh air revitalizes the stories and journeys in people’s lives to depict that there is still a path, there still is hope, and everything is possible through God. An incredible story that was absolutely well written, captured, and produced. Recommend everyone watch this as it will give you a new perspective on the way we view life!
