I love how the RnB singer Charlie Wilson is the picture for troll Texas congressman Charlie Wilson. It's absurd that 60 minutes was on in Wilson's room in Sin City. Instead of enjoying the hot tub, women and alcohol he had to look at that TV and get his savior complex going. If only his cruel neighbor hadn't feed that dog glass. Now more than a decade into the American lead effort to pacify Afghanistan, he must feel like a ridiculous ass. Congrats man, you are responsible for 9/11. Then again, maybe he's oblivious like fellow Texan Bush 2? Maybe that was the plan all along!

See this in conjunction with "Charlie Wilson's War" starring Tom Hanks and directed by Mike Nichols and written by Aaron Sorkin. The documentary sheds some light on what the movie of course glosses over. But with Sorkin kind of pulling the sheets back a little more, you get a good look at very flawed hero. Flawed in a lot of ways and we have current events to remind us.

Pulls it all together, watch the Hollywood version first. Otherwise you may be bored of the story line. I loved them both.
Expansionist America using proxy wars to support its never ending idea of manifest destiny. Hello, we already went to the Pacific... where to next?
