Two cops plan to rob criminals of their loot. One of which is clearly a psychopath. And then the intelligent one randomly changes his mind post heist and returns all the diamonds to the vault?? See more S M Mar 6 Nic Cage does a pretty good Nic Cage impression here, Elijah Wood shows he's got a little more range than folks generally expect. This is a heist movie, and does have its moments. Still, the fun feels more like an impression of fun, and there's no moral here if you're looking. Whatever comes after post-post-nihilism in the philosophy that meaning is inaccessible in a s***-happens world, this might be it.
