Audience Member Maddeningly brilliant? How about just maddening. Peter Greenaway succeeded in putting me into a coma at the screening of this film and a whole bunch of others as well. The sensory overload doesn't disguise a bunch of rubbish slapped together. Parts II and III? No thank you. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Initially didn't catch me, but after a while it drew me in, so that I was saddened when it ended. The acting is awful. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A huge + ambitious multimedia project conducted by Peter Greenaway. Absolutely + completely Grotesque. No longer a matter of narrative; instead, it is more a visual patchwork "art piece" including films & behind the scenes making-of, documentaries, theater-plays, paintings, music videos, 3-sphere computer graphic & animations etc. There is a "story" track to follow, at least. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member To watch some Greenaway I. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Im kind of baffled, think I may need it to watch it again Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member A Revolutionary experiment with cinema by Peter Greenaway. I am so glad that i have been able to witness this revelation. Tulse Luper Suitcases is a three part film that when put together combines a film like you have never seen before. This is the ultimate Peter Greenaway experience. It has all of his trademarks and so much more in it. He achieves a kinda style that cannot be copied. It is a mix of so many different kind of techniques and ways to make film that first time will most definetly be near exhausting, but in a positive way. For me, this is one of the unique experiences i've had with film in a long time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

David N. Butterworth rec.arts.movies.reviews Maddeningly brilliant -- and typically excessive -- in keeping with Greenaway's more mature works. Rated: 3.5/4 Sep 24, 2005 Full Review Greg Muskewitz eFilmCritic.com There is something temporarily fulfilling within the blend and presentation of information and how it is smattered across the screen.
