Maddeningly brilliant -- and typically excessive -- in keeping with Greenaway's more mature works. Go to Full Review

There is something temporarily fulfilling within the blend and presentation of information and how it is smattered across the screen. Go to Full Review

Masonik A 08/17/2024 Just watch this! Just do it! See more 06/19/2013 Maddeningly brilliant? How about just maddening. Peter Greenaway succeeded in putting me into a coma at the screening of this film and a whole bunch of others as well. The sensory overload doesn't disguise a bunch of rubbish slapped together. Parts II and III? No thank you. See more 10/15/2011 Initially didn't catch me, but after a while it drew me in, so that I was saddened when it ended. The acting is awful. See more 01/01/2010 A huge + ambitious multimedia project conducted by Peter Greenaway. Absolutely + completely Grotesque. No longer a matter of narrative; instead, it is more a visual patchwork "art piece" including films & behind the scenes making-of, documentaries, theater-plays, paintings, music videos, 3-sphere computer graphic & animations etc. There is a "story" track to follow, at least. See more 11/15/2009 To watch some Greenaway I. See more 06/05/2009 Im kind of baffled, think I may need it to watch it again See more Read all reviews
