May Leitz Nyx Fears I was pleasantly surprised by this movie mostly because it was kind of minimalist in ways that most found-footage - and I have seen most of them - simply are not. Nov 15, 2019 Full Review C.H. Newell Father Son Holy Gore Perhaps why The Tunnel is so effective is because it takes on a real world issue, crafting an interesting plot within that familiar story constructed as a news exposé. Rated: 4/5 May 1, 2019 Full Review Steve Newton Georgia Straight When scary s--- happens, the terror sticks with you because you're never shown enough to be certain of anything. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 15, 2013 Full Review Jeremy Heilman MovieMartyr.com [It] might sound like a mundane retread of recent creature features such as Creep or The Descent, but it manages to be something a bit more haunting in practice. Rated: 60/100 Aug 9, 2012 Full Review Scott Weinberg FEARnet Not a bad effort for a mini-budgeted fan-funded horror project. Rated: 3/5 Sep 5, 2011 Full Review Tim Martain The Mercury (Australia) The audience is teased with fleeting glimpses of the threat lurking in the shadows and its first real appearance is played so well it is a thing of horror poetry. Oliver P This is an example of why most horror movie critics are terrible at their jobs trust the popcorn rating not the critics rating. I saw this was rated 100% with critics but only if you enjoy constant cuts mid horror to a lame documentary interview style, and a slow build up with only one or two scares. If so then this is the movie for you otherwise I'd say spend your time watching a good horror film. 1/5 don't waste your time with this. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/18/25 Full Review Ben K Don't waste your time. Slow build up to nothing worth watching Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/24/24 Full Review Nicholas S Great movies I really enjoyed how they included the perspectives in terms of the interviewing part with the camera man and main protagonist, Would love a sequel to explore more behind the monster in the tunnels. Great found footage movie I enjoyed it Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/30/24 Full Review Audience Member Very enjoyable found footage, Blair Witch style. Enjoyable, claustrophobic and fun Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/25/24 Full Review Julian S Easily one of the worst found footage movies I’ve ever watched. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/19/24 Full Review Aaron D It starts off with a captivating crew with entertaining chemistry, then takes a hard nose dive when the first member of the cast meets an untimely end and panic sets in.
