Audience Member Screened at the Ohio Independent Film Festival 2014. The Grasso brothers, Michael and Joe, deliver a thrilling, funny conspiracy tale. Made and set around Pennsylvania, this film brings unique characters to the screen with high-end production values. Carter Roy is excellent as a father who becomes obsessed with death while grieving his young son. He channels this obsession into studying the Zapruder film and trying to solve the mystery of President Kennedy's death. It is the 1980s and he joins a club with other conspiracy theorists. Abbi Cobb also stands out as a Jackie Kennedy impersonator, and suddenly the movie turns into a sort of buddy picture. Solving one mystery helps the father find resolution to his son's death, but is it too late to patch things up with his wife. A top-notch story! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member I had the pleasure of working with the Grasso Brothers on a stage production of this, before shooting started. While not quite an effective stage production, the film can be quite engaging. After the tragic death of his son, Peter Brennan buries his grief in alcohol and becomes fixated on the Kennedy assassination. As he wanders slowly into the subculture of conspiracy theorists, he detaches himself more and more from his wife, friends and reality in general. It's not an easy spiral to watch and there can be narrative problems at times, but the cast is uniformly engaging, especially Carter Roy as Peter and Abbie Cobb making her film debut as Jackie. Director Michael Grasso turns in a great first directing effort. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
