There are several different things going on in this movie showing how people react to different life decisions that impact not only themselves but others. I really enjoyed it. The premise was good but the direction sucked. The whole thing seemed like a chitlin circuit stage play with overly dramatic performances. I think the story would have been better if the line between good and bad were more nuanced vs the clearly defined caricature of church villians we see here.
