See more 06/11/2010 Coming from the Philippines, the Aswang myth that they presented here had very little resemblance to the one that we know back home. This is a very Westernize version of it, distilled to a point that it's almost indistinguishable. The movie has little resemblance to an Asian horror film instead it's a derivative of a lot of classic horror movies, from Texas Chainsaw, Alien, even some X-files and Blue Velvet.
