Liam D A very quirky movie This comedy is a fine time waster but I'll won't watch it again any time soon Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/21 Full Review Audience Member Some funny parts but mainly mediocre. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Good watch, will likely watch again, and can recommend. It a great little "self discovery" trope with a great twist of it being a couple that grows. It has ups and downs, lots of humor, and just a enough dramatization to make you feel for the characters. Lauren Lapkis is amazing, and Lucy Hale makes a fun cameo. Most couples that are into sexual exploration don't do it all in one night, and get kicked the entire time, but hell is it entertaining. It reminds a little of "Duplex", but with a little more focus than is healthy. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Disjointed but charming sex farce with a ridiculous cast of comedic actors and SNL cameos. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/25/20 Full Review Audience Member Almost every couple out there searches for their "unicorn." In the case of these two they are trying to find a common ground in their relationship Being engaged for 4 years you'd think they would actually be ready But it's probably that one spark they need to get things going So the both of them have an idea to spice things up; have a threesome together As the night progresses though new secrets and hidden feelings are revealed making them question where they are and if getting married is the way to go A relationship is dangerous waters least of all marriage; it can get very rocky, you have to be okay with new things as well as stuff you never knew about your partner from before, and it's like sailing a treacherous ocean, if you don't work together both could end up sinking The movie can apply to all couples looking to make things more fun Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I love love love this show. Matt Fagerholm RogerEbert.com An endearing symphony of misread cues, fumbling advances and accidental epiphanies. Rated: 3/4 Feb 1, 2019 Full Review Joe Leydon Variety Robert Schwartzman's lightly amusing trifle plays like an updated version of a dinner theater staple. Feb 1, 2019 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Although its plethora of painfully awkward comic moments will produce shudders of recognition for anyone who's been in a long-term relationship, its sweetly sentimental ending makes The Unicorn a perfectly acceptable date movie. Jan 31, 2019 Full Review Preston Barta Fresh Fiction The Unicorn is uncensored and hilariously unpredictable, but it also has meaning. It engages in the concept of stepping outside your comfort zone to take on new experiences - a lovely and enlightening message to take to heart. Rated: A- Mar 30, 2019 Full Review Danielle Solzman Solzy at the Movies The Unicorn puts threesomes into a new perspective... Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 11, 2019 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation Some good scenes, funny performances and sparkling banter make this worthy of rom-com silver, if not quite rom-com gold.
