dave d A top to bottom description of the Insane Clown Posse and the federal government's desire to censor them among other things. The FBI is targeting speech all over and music is no exception. The ICP was labeled as a gang and that changes the game. The documentary is rather one-sided, but when the other side is the government trying to shut down free speech, I mean come on! I'm no fan of the ICP, but harmless is what harmless does. A group that doesn't discriminate and is all-inclusive should strike fear in the government! If people aren't pitted against each other the elites aren't doing their job. Final Score: 7/10 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A great behind the scenes look at ICP's battle with the FBI and really a great story from start to finish. Being a longtime fan, I knew the story fairly well but I thought that the documentary did a great job of covering every aspect of the story. It really is something to behold for those who aren't familiar with ICP, the fact that something this egregious could happen in America to a music fanbase is beyond awful. This really is a must watch for anyone that loves music or just a good story about someone fighting back from unjust targeting by the FBI. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a solid documentary. It's not so much about icp but more the juggalos. A lot of dope insight into the world of juggalos and the mislabeling and misunderstanding of what and who we are. Must see for anyone out there down with the clown. Also a good way for someone who knows nothing about juggalos to learn about our culture. Whoop whoop Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review greg r What is worse than the Insane Clown Posse??? A documentary about the Insane Clown Posse. Wish the guys well in their fight against the FBI. But, um, well, who cares???? Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Great representation of unity, I have always said that OSJ hold it down. NEVER CHOOSE A SIDE (REP. OR DEM.) THATS HOW THEY DIVIDE US!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie shows the truth! This is in no way criminal and is just the government over reaching AGAIN! Richard Whittaker Austin Chronicle The United States of Insanity is as much a portrait of a long-ignored, mocked, and lambasted band, and the subculture that surrounds it, as it is a trip into a deeply disturbing and Kafkaesque assault on civil liberties. Dec 9, 2021 Full Review Christian Gallichio The Playlist Once the film gets into the political fight -nearly the last third of the runtime - 'Insanity' takes on a beautifully surreal quality. Rated: B+ Dec 20, 2021 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com An insightful and intelligent documentary and, yes, it's also a little insane. Rated: 3.5/4.0 Nov 29, 2021 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X The legal aspect is intriguing, but this film seems primarily aimed at Juggalos who want to see and hear all they can of Insane Clown Posse and each other. Nov 19, 2021 Full Review Norman Gidney HorrorBuzz An informative, if not bloated documentary of a misunderstood band. Rated: 7 Nov 17, 2021 Full Review Carey-Ann Pawsey Orca Sound The reputed world's most hated band is fighting the good fight. Rated: 3/5 Nov 7, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
