Great movie. It’s not very funny, but I don’t think it’s supposed to be. It’s a portrait of a troubled man who was broken by extreme childhood trauma.

In My Opinion, This movie is one of the best Ryan Reynolds Titles. It provides a thoughtful and empathetic view into the mind of someone trying to better himself, but failing. The humor is dark but provides development for the Reynolds' character as the voices typically show his thoughts given psychical manifestation. Ryan's acting is well done, and the writing is on the higher side. It's different from other slasher movies as the character feels like a real human being. A nice thing about the movie is despite being a dark comedy, it still takes itself seriously, and there are a lot of moments that emphasize that this feels horrible for the character.
