Tonally, Wanderers is too jumbled to work coherently. The film skips from exaggerated comedy skits to bloody sombre moments and back again, with no chance for the viewer to get used to any one direction.

most of the characters are woefully underwritten, some of the musical cues work to undermine... the action, the plotting is overdetermined to the point of making little sense, and actors of Assante's and Ashkenazi's calibre are largely wasted

The movie is very slow, and I watched it over a week, yes a week. I really like Armand Assante and hoped to see more of his acting talents. The cast was good, the Korean couple was a bit silly, but not bad. It is not a real serious movie but it does past the time.

Something different. I like the way they don't take themselves to serious.
The first scene with zombies is priceless.
