Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment What this film may lack in an iconic foundation as Godzilla, it gains in being pure fun. Justin T I didn’t like this film. It could be because I have watched way too many giant monster movies recently or it could be because this isn’t very original or very good. There is absolutely no backstory or recap, they go into this assuming you know what is going on. There was a previous film but I haven’t seen it because I didn’t realise it existed until I had started this one. I don’t think I’ll bother with it. This film is pretty slow and very repetitive and unoriginal. It’s just giant monsters against the army and then against each other with no real resolution. Maybe I’ve just seen too many Toho kaiju movies, they are losing their charm. The kaiju costumes looked especially bad in this film and why did they call them Frankensteins? At least the model cities that they smashed and the model tanks were pretty cool as always. Overall not worth watching even if I enjoyed seeing the Maser being used again. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/26/24 Full Review J L This is one of the greatest Honda-Tsuburaya films. Maybe even their last masterpieces, loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/21/23 Full Review Oscar E This movie is really good, it may have bad special effect but it's still very good, one of the best Japanese movie Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/05/23 Full Review Dean W Better than I thought it would be by a mile Very good octopus scene at beginning Frankenstein conquers the world inspired suits I'm sure One of the more violent Kaiju movies Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/23 Full Review Audience Member The human story is stupid, but at the same time it's a little attracting. Strange. But it's a well entertaining non Godzilla film and It's a mess. It's one of my favorite Ishiro Honda film (Well I perfer Mothra vs. Godzilla and Terror of mechagodzilla to be better). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member This is an excellent movie a must-see for all ages this is one of my favorite movies is from the same company that made Godzilla to me this movie is a masterpiece if I was you definitely watch this movie you won't be sorry Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
