Ray B THIS is what you want in a horror movie about a witch! She's horrific in appearance, she gruesomely tortures children, and she lives in an old abandoned house deep in the woods. I don't know why other reviewers hated on this movie so much. It may not be a perfect film, but this was the best personification of a witch I've seen - dark, malevolent and gruesome - and it has stuck with me. I really enjoyed this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/24/23 Full Review Audience Member A group of teenagers set out to explore a house rumored to be that of a cannibalistic witch who eats children to stay young. I'll admit that I stuck with the movie, despite the slow start, in the hope of seeing at least a few of the DB teens get killed in the most gruesome fashion. The movie expects you to react to the "terrifying" moments but made the mistake of establishing characters that behaved like thirteen year olds on a school field trip. The witch character would have been better portrayed with less camera time. This is clearly a high school horror movie, not for the serious horror fan. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member WORST MOVIE EVER I watched the first 10 minutes or so and it got very clear why this movie got flopped..I mean c'mon, who makes a witch that is supposed to kidnap a child look like a fucking alien abduction!? The child is being sucked up by a beam of light that made me think of either spaceships or black holes..or teleportation...certainly not of witches though! A promising poster and a promising start of the movie, that's all I can say! Lessons learned: Don't read movie reviews, check scores. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Watchable. Few good scary moments, some good acting and not so bad story, although the idea was a way better then realistion. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Not good...it's like a TV movie...ð??? Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review W H If this flick was given the budget big-studio movies get, then I'm sure it would have been a lot better. It was so bad it was good though. I hated most of the characters and rooted for the Wicked to kill them all, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. The movie actually took some time to do some character development thus giving me more reason to hate them. All and all, this was a great way to kill a Monday night.
