Paul Chambers CNNRadio Film has some interesting characters, especially the non-actors. But, special effects and suspense just aren't there. Rated: C- Aug 1, 2009 Full Review Scott Weinberg Cinematical A little scary, occasionally funny, and rather enthusiastically splattery before it's all done with. Audience Member Groovy 70's Flick.A.Pick!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Bad make up, poor acting, awful costume I mean what in hell were they thinking? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty damn good. It`s micro budget and it shows. Also, some of the shots of the wildman are snicker inducing. Still, I was almost enthralled. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This one is straight up watchable low budget fare, but don't expect anything beyond fairly believable everyman characters and the occasional odd turn, like the guy who employs a man to look after his infirm wife, only to find that the caregiver is actually molesting her in his absence? Okay, some VERY odd turns, but overall it's still an okay way to kill an hour and half, especially for those into the Boggy Creek style film. Rental? Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member I liked how this looked like the 1970s style low budget slasher movies even down to the colour and style of the credits. It reminded me a lot of the exploitation films that were presented natural history but were really fronts to show graphic animal violence and cannibalism. I noticed that one of the producers is Kim Henkel who wrote the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It's too bad that it just kind of meanders on and doesn't really keep you riveted. Maybe if they had more of a budget, but it's the lack of budget that gives the movie whatever charm it has with all the non-actors. These 2 guys who made it did everything: acted, wrote, directed, edited, designed. If only it had just a little more passion in the performances. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member (***): Thumbs Up A solidly entertaining low-budget horror flick. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
