Alan French Sunshine State Cineplex While The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep does not work on every level, as a visual and action spectacle, it still pulls through. Rated: 6/10 Feb 11, 2025 Full Review Jonathon Wilson Ready Steady Cut The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep is mostly fine, from a casual point of view, but it also serves as a reminder that Netflix don’t have the slightest idea what they’re doing with this franchise. Az S The voice acting of Essi (Christina Wren) makes this unbearable. Her English accent is so awful. She'll be posh, cockney and west country all in one sentence. It's like a drunken joke. Why not just hire an English actor? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/11/25 Full Review Tigran A Disappointing adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski's A Little Sacrifice. Too bloated, too much focus on war, leaving out a lot of the deeper character moments that could have been there instead. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/11/25 Full Review Audience Member Geralt feels like Geralt, and Jaskier is enough of Jaskier. The supporting cast is developed just enough to serve the plot without excessive exposition, which works fine given the film’s limited runtime. The narrative is well-paced, making for a satisfying watch. However, one moment pulled me entirely out of the experience—the song sequence, which felt like it belonged in a Disney princess movie rather than the gritty Witcher universe. Why?! Overall, Sirens of the Deep is a solid addition to the Witcher lore. If the live-action series maintained this level of storytelling, it would at least be watchable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/25 Full Review Logan N I love the story and characters, this could even be a TW3 DLC. And I think Netflix should scew all the live action and make their franchise an anime one, just keep the 2 animes canon and retcon the 2 shows.
