They might've made this movie because they got a good deal on the yacht, but nevertheless they've built a fairly effective thriller. Go to Full Review

I couldn’t help noticing how quickly the script sprung a leak,...never to recover despite the yeoman efforts of star Keira Knightley to serve as a port in a storm of clichés. Go to Full Review

The first half tends to drag, while the payoff conclusion seems rushed and predictable. Still, 'The Woman in Cabin 10' has its moments—nail biting as they are. Go to Full Review

This boat-based tale is a slightly uneasy mix of Agatha Christie-style crime-solving and modern-day psychological thriller. Go to Full Review

A film thematically sawed in half, as if penned by two entirely different minds, styles, and social politics, glued in the middle by Keira Knightley‘s determined performance. Go to Full Review

a y @Rotten_Tomato 21h It’s a fast-moving entertaining psychological thriller. Why a lot of these pedestrian "critics" gave it a 30% rating doesn’t make sense. Who do they think they are … Siskel & Ebert? Some complained it’s not "believable". It’s not a documentary, people! I gave it a higher score to counteract the unfair digs. It’s not that complicated: make some popcorn on a slow evening, sit back, enjoy the 1.5 hour thriller.🍿 See more Sammy S. @Jksteps 1d Ridiculously stupid and implausible. One star is plenty. See more Chris U. @ChrisU20 1d A disappointment. The book wasn’t spectacular but it was better than this. See more Shawn H. @chard0nay 2d What a creepy situation to be in at one point I thought she was going to be the main entree See more Julie T 2d Although it starts well and has a story that reminds you of Hitchcock , think vertigo without the height thing, but it soon descends into a land that logic forgot, perhaps you can forgive Keira Knightleys character boarding the super yacht with one hold all , to spend a week with the super rich , and then making a big fuss of the fact , but it’s obviously a bag borrowed from Mary Poppins and it’s full of changes of outfit , several pairs of shoes and an overcoat . Why is she there ? Well obviously to be the Everyman who is necessary to watch the plot unravel .Who invites an investigative reporter onto their super yacht if nefarious deeds are inevitably going to be done ? And they were always going to happen . I won’t keep giving spoilers about the illogical plot as even to the least enquiring viewer it’s pretty bad , murder had to happen , and someone was obviously going to see things they shouldn’t , why put Keira in the next cabin to the one where the action takes place ? See more Cynthia H @Cdelafuente Feb 8 Why can't they ever make a movie that follows the book? No where close to the book in my opinion, and I only made it 30 min into the movie and did not finish watching it. See more Read all reviews
