Keira Knightley baited me in, I’ll give them that. But the plot is embarrassingly thin. Did they think pretty boats and blue water would save it? I saw the entire "twist" coming at the one-hour mark and still had to suffer through the rest. Perfect movie if you’re drinking wine with someone hot and plan to ignore it after 15 minutes. Otherwise… hard pass.

I love Keira Knightley. Unfortunately her star power and talent couldn't elevate this project. The plot of the film (and I assume the book) was thin and flimsy at best. The characters were predictable; zero suspense.

Slow burn but worth a watch to pass the time. Good main actress choice. Following along side little troubling since so much commotion with the background characters as the elite. Questionable death scenarios & self defense gaps as well as journalist common sense lost. Overall, satisfactory.
