adam b Some really great writing and some killer performances, but it still feels too melodramatic. Nonetheless, a decent drama that will probably jerk them tears Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review ashley h The Women of Brewster Place is an excellent film. It is about a group of strong-willed women who live in the same rundown housing project located on Brewster Place. Oprah Winfrey and Mary Alice give amazing performances. The teleplay is well written. Donna Deitch did a great job directing this TV movie. I enjoyed watching this TV movie because of the drama.
