Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express For a rom-com which needs to be light on its feet, hitting fours and sixes as it goes along, the writing is not as supple as it should have been. Too many slog overs here. Rated: 2.5/5 Sep 20, 2019 Full Review Namrata Joshi The Hindu The ditzy manner of the impeccably clad Sonam Kapoor works only up to a point and becomes pesky when stretched over two hours. Sep 20, 2019 Full Review Saibal Chatterjee NDTV To put it in cricketing terms, The Zoya Factor plays out too many dot balls, which undermine a plot that seeks to blend the comedic and the solemn. The coalescence is tenuous at best. Rated: 2/5 Jul 15, 2020 Full Review Musanna Ahmed Film Inquiry The pneuma of Garry Marshall, the irresistible appeal of Mills & Boon, the artificial allure of a Coco Chanel advert - these jewels are embedded in the storytelling of The Zoya Factor, a cute romcom with unexpected depth. Oct 4, 2019 Full Review Sucharita Tyagi Film Companion Really light storytelling...some unnecessary classism... this film, while exploring this manic side of society, doesn't delve too deep into its psyche. Oct 3, 2019 Full Review Monika Rawal Kukreja Hindustan Times Though the central premise of the film is thin, it's the feel good factor that holds your attention. Audience Member The common romance movie Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Can you have such a drastic change of opinion for a film which you've seen only once? Directed by Abhishek Sharma of "Tere Bin Laden" and "Parmanu", this cheeky feel-good romcom is a buffed up masala movie which clearly handles it's woman's front like an accessory, and while it sweetly works well upon it's intentions with conviction over it's hold- that talent is greater than luck, it seems to be the top priority of it's makers to place luck over talent, with a barrel of nepotism thrown into the deck of this sinking boat. How I wished I disliked this film upon my first viewing! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Uhh.. That movie was poorly adapted script on a OTT Platform without a single effort. That movie has plenty of characters with Angad Bedi outshining others. This script is how cricket is destroyed via movies. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Charming rom-com that delivers exactly what it's supposed to. The leads are beautiful and keep it interesting. It was a really fun watch on a slow weekend evening. The in-film commercials are a bit goofy, but those weren't the main focus of the movie anyway. Some really quirky fun dialogues and a really wonderful performance by Sikander Kher (who knew?). It could have been a little shorter, but really, don't we say that about every movie these days? A fun, low stakes watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Damn cute and feel good DQ is 💥 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Dulquer Salmaan will regret this, he is worth much more than this.
