Audience Member Laurel and Hardy go have a good time at a night club behind their wives backs. However, luck is as usual not on their side. Not the most original of concepts, but Laurel and Hardy work it very well with funny gags and incomparable charisma. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Mike M The fun comes in dispatches - business with teaspoons, gossipy harridans, a midget floor show and a couple of stray dessert options - and there's something semi-radical in the way plot development is left to play out on Stan's face as his companions' expenditure increases by the minute; the central thrust, though, feels antiquated, where the stars' best work remains unmistakably alive.
