      Critics Consensus

A likable cast and strong set pieces give There's Someone Inside Your House a lift, but they're outweighed by its messily misguided story.

Emilliano Jr S A failed attempt Scream wannabe. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Alexandra P A boring, stale, predictable waste of time and energy Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review MERLE L I watched this movie for the first time October 2022. I honestly don't really like horror, but this movie was definitely amazing. The plot twist wasn't that expected for me. But maybe that's just me. I also appreciate the fact they added a queer character, as it's always nice to see some representation in horror music So yeah a 10/10 from me :D Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/12/23 Full Review Winter S I genuinely enjoyed the movie and didn't expect the outcome that I was served. I thought that the story following the main character was a little weak once everything came to light but, other than that, I thought it was a pretty decent slasher. Perfect for an evening at home alone or while hanging out with friends. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/07/23 Full Review Becky B Just terrible. Don't waste your time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/06/23 Full Review Karri T Despite its cliché storyline, this movie managed to hold my attention with a few unexpected twists. I found myself glued to the screen, eagerly anticipating who would be the next target and, more importantly, why the bad guy or girl chose them. The suspenseful plot kept me engaged throughout, and I jumped at the scripted times which made it a good watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Wenlei Ma News.com.au All its failings could be semi-forgiven if There's Someone Inside Your House did the one thing that was promised on the box - be frightening. Rated: 1/5 Nov 2, 2021 Full Review Stephen Romei The Australian ...well-made, well-acted and should keep couch-bound sleuths guessing until the end... Oct 15, 2021 Full Review Roxana Hadadi Polygon There's Someone Inside Your House is intermittently effective, but ultimately unremarkable, and it feels like a product of its time in disappointing ways. Oct 9, 2021 Full Review Paul Lê Tales from the Paulside While it is easy to compare this to the admittedly more unique slashers before it, There’s Someone Inside Your House at the very least does everything on its own terms. It is not capitalizing on nostalgia or trapped in the past. Rated: 2.5/5 Jul 23, 2023 Full Review Nuha Hassan Hear Us Scream There’s Someone Inside Your House is not meant to be a parody of slasher films, but it does not have any entertaining elements. Jul 20, 2023 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies It’s slasher formula 101 – introduce the killer’s fodder (most often a group of insufferable teens) and then slice them, carve them, chop them, and impale them one by one. That’s this movie in a nutshell. Rated: 1.5/5 Aug 17, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews
