First of all, I absolutely hate movies playing along with pianos. clank, clank, clank... Why? Second, the parents, along with the neighbors (excluding the Asian woman) and other assorted idiots, seem to have IQ's in the lower 60's. When the action finally starts it gets gruesome, which explains the 3 and a half. If it were up to me: someone says previous family disappeared, on with the action, done. If you don't like gruesome, then don't bother.
