Marc Z In their 4th film Cheech and Chong manage to offer enough familiarity to make the film pure for fans. Simultaneously, the film offers enough new material to make this one enjoyable. The movie is a time capsule for the hardships of the early 80's. A lot of the humor would be impossible to do in today's politically correct environment, but are still funny nonetheless. These guys were good at physical a s verbal comedy and this one showcases both. This was not as good as Up in Smoke, but still really good. The guys play multiple roles in this one and they are funny. The supporting cast is great in backing them up. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/20/23 Full Review Audience Member My least favorite of the Cheech and Chong films, but still had some funny moments nonetheless and was still overall solid. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A highly entertaining and funny first half, and a boring, uneventful second half. The first half includes Cheech & Chong getting into all kinds of wacky hijinks, but it seemed like they ran out of script and as soon as they had dropped off the car they spent almost the rest of the movie trapped in the desert. I don't know exactly where I would rank this one out of all of their movies. It's not the worst, and for a while it is as good or better than most of their other movies, but it just gets so dull towards the end. You would expect some things to happen in Vegas, but there is very little time spent there and you only see the strip briefly. Difficult to recommend. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review darin c There's a reason not even Cheech and Chong fans have heard of this poor excuse of the duo's works... Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member It's your basic stoner formula set in stone by Cheech and Chong. Much better than the previous Nice Dreams but really not all that good unless you pine for the good ol' daze or can't find the remote while under the influence. Rob Gonsalves Rob's Movie Vault Probably the best Cheech & Chong movie -- the boys show some variety, someone besides Chong directed it, and there's strangely almost no drug humor. Rated: A Feb 3, 2008 Full Review Read all reviews
