Ashley is the perfect audience mirror, showing our growing fear, paranoia and distrust. Mia feels caught between two worlds, a part of herself she just can’t access and part of her isn’t sure she wants to. Go to Full Review

Despite being overly complicated and sometimes messy, this engaging thriller is elevated by a strong lead performance, effective visual storytelling, and a compellingly unreliable narrator that keeps viewers guessing. Go to Full Review

Though it looks amazing, you will be so annoyed if you watch this monotonous, psychological thriller unless you can appreciate the solid ingredients. Go to Full Review

Shrewdly, Jennifer E. Montgomery borrows a taste, dab, and dash of those old domestic and erotic thriller elements to balance the movie’s gleaming sheen with enough specks and stains of proverbial dirty laundry to stay taboo and intriguing. Go to Full Review

This Tempting Madness is the kind of film that starts as a mystery with a dash of whodunit, throws in a fair bit of drama, and ends up being an engaging and sometimes surprising psychological thriller. Go to Full Review

Elizabeth P @RT90918812 2d This Tempting Madness is an absolutely captivating story from beginning to end. The plot is beautifully crafted, filled with emotion, tension, and unforgettable moments that keep you invested in every scene. What truly elevates the film is Simone Ashley's performance. She is simply brilliant. Her portrayal is both powerful and nuanced, bringing depth, charm, and authenticity to her character. Every emotion feels genuine, making it impossible not to connect with her journey. See more BM T @VictoriaM 3d A tense thriller from the start, the opening scene had my heart racing, and the few times I was able to get a breather it didn't last long before the tension was ramped up again. The standout in this movie though is the performance of Simone Ashley, it is a vastly different role to what we have seen her in before, and really highlights her talent and her range as an actor. She carried the movie and in a cast with the talent and experience there was that is saying something. She shone in every scene, but more importantly inhabited the character of Mia. I hope this movie can be distributed more widely if for no other reason than the world needs to be shown the amazing talent that is Simone Ashley. See more Maria Clara G @RT97877554 3d This film completely captivated me. It’s the kind of movie that stays with you long after it ends, filled with layers, metaphors, and emotions that demand a second watch. Rich, unsettling, and hypnotic, it creates an experience that is both fascinating and deeply affecting. What makes it even more powerful is Simone Ashley’s extraordinary performance. I’ve always admired her work, but this role reminded me why. Mia is a complex character, and Simone brings every nuance to life with remarkable sensitivity and emotional depth. She fully inhabits the role, making every moment feel genuine. Her control of voice, expression, and physicality is exceptional. You don’t just understand Mia’s pain, you feel it. I hope to see her in many more challenging dramatic roles. She is a rare talent who elevates every project she’s part of. Simone Ashley delivers one of the most compelling performances I’ve seen in a long time. An unforgettable film led by a phenomenal performance. See more Anita O @RT76560928 3d Simone Ashley was amazing in this and it was beautiful watching her outside of Bridgerton. See more Zee A @Zee1917 3d Simone Ashley is a star!! she carried this film from start to finish. Definitely a side of her we hadn't seen before, and I'm here for her taking on heavier roles! While the movie itself wasn't perfect, the storyline was quite intense and worth watching. See more Karyn J @RT73394160 3d This Tempting Madness is intense & emotional. Simone gives one of her best performance in this role - the way she’s portrayed Mia’s struggle and emotion - incredible! Suraj was amazing as well! In my opinion, this is one of best psychological thriller film. Definitely recommend!! See more Read all reviews
