Kenneth S My wife and I enjoyed and appreciated a well written storyline that was both entertaining and void of profanity. This is a movie the entire family can enjoy watching together. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/24 Full Review Sue Absolutely LOVED this film! No stupid elves, no robots, no animation... Just a good family movie with good morality and love and kindness! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/13/23 Full Review shawn t If you like the "Hallmark Movie" genre then this is a good one. Predictable plot like all of them, but I still cried. Beautiful examples of the importance of families staying together and honoring previous generations. Shows the importance of helping people and ties it all into Christian belief. I will watch again next year. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review John B It was ok overall for a Christmas movie, but I don't really feel a connection with the characters other than they are family & have some history together. Also, doesn't seem to be much of a romantic connection in the story either for the charaters. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/13/22 Full Review Audience Member This is the worst movie I have seen thus far. How was this ever released? Do NOT waste your time… Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Thomas Kinkade doesn't disappoint as he presents "Christmas Lodge." The enthralling mountain tops and angelic picture-perfect scenery; make you want to pack up and move to The Great Rocky Mountains. Mary Tobin is hiking in the woods with her city slicker boyfriend and finds a young girl injured. In helping the girl home, Mary is soon reminded of her past when she stumbles upon the Christmas lodge. The lodge is dated and worn like her city slicker relationship, Mary is greeted by the owner of the lodge, Jake. Not only was Mary reminded of her past when she steps into the lodge, she soon finds out that "Little Jakey" was a big part of it. You will fall in love with the character Jake, an admirable single father and fetching mountain man, played by Michael Shanks. Mary wants to spend one last Christmas at the lodge with her family and sick, fading grandfather. She must use her connections in the city to find the funds to restore the cottage in time for Christmas. Sharing in the journey of restoration and love with Mary was not only delightfully heartwarming, but at times funny. If you are looking for a good family Christmas movie this December, this is a must see. Beautifully done! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
