Audience Member The story and the characters in Thrasher Road totally absorbed our friends and family. It's ultimately a tale of about how the often tragic life-long effects of divorce on children and parents —anger, misunderstanding, loss— can be softened by fate and necessity....and then begin to be healed. From Los Angeles to Mississippi to Vermont, the "Thrasher Road" road trip is moving and, without melodrama, healing and hopeful. If you've ever driven across America, the locations are authentic and the cinematography (movies was shot on film), is sharp and beautiful. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member A daughter's journey, a father's journey and a dog's journey all rolled into this heartfelt indie. This is a movie worthy of theatrical release with expert execution in all areas. Samantha Davidson Green does a superb job with her actors, camera and music. Everything here is thoroughly professional, and you'll find yourself touched and heartened if you spend the time and a couple of bucks to watch this one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review william w Nicely done movie that deals with adversity, fractured family relationships and asking for help. It is well filmed and a solid script. Acting is pretty good, certainly from the principal characters. Nice job by the director. Quality movie worth a watch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent Independent film. Shows you don't have to spend millions to tell a great story. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Dave and I have an agreement when it comes to movies. If I pick it, he is free to leave after twenty minutes if he doesn't like it, and vice versa. For this movie, neither one of us budged; both of us sat there entranced, not wanting it to end. The movie is touching without being maudlin. It conveys a message that anyone who's experienced loss—and redemption—can relate to. You'll find the themes linger long after the closing credits. Dave and I agree this is one of the best, if not THE best film, we've seen this year. Do yourself a favor and see this remarkable movie. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was raw, real, and you root for the characters throughout. Loved the honest portrayal of the US and her people.
