RICHARD S As a Fox musical from the forties, this is as good as it gets! The warmth, beauty, and talent of lovely June Haver stands out -- underrated for her nice voice and excellent dancing; the superior dancing of Vera Ellen, and the overall work of Vivian Blaine. An amusing tangle of love stories of three sisters off the farm in Atlantic city. George Montgomery is surprisingly delightful as one of the suitors and, if that's his true singing voice, very nice musical contribution as well. "On the Boardwalk of Atlantic City" introduced in this film -- you'll be humming it for a day or two!
