Connie (Kelly Lynch) is heartbroken when her girlfriend Ellen (Sherilyn Fenn) tells her she wants to take a break. Connie hires Joe, a male prostitute, to break Ellen's heart so she'll be desperate to come back. What she doesn't count on is the possibility that Joe (William Baldwin), a handsome gigolo with an overprotective pimp (Joe Pantoliano), will fall in love with Ellen. She also doesn't count on the vengeful ex-con who has a score to settle with him -- or on her own feelings for Joe.

Billy Baldwin, Kelly Lynch, and Sherilyn Fenn are three hearts caught in a twist of a triangle directed by Yurek Bogayevicz Two ladies have been together for a long time but unfortunately Connie's heart is broken and when Ellen decides to leave Ellen needs to figure things out on her own Connie isn't one to give up though so she comes up with a plan to win her back Se decides to hire a male escort named Joe to make Ellen fall in love with him By doing so he'll break it off so she can go back to Connie It's never that simple though as Joe begins to actually fall for her creating a deadly love triangle This was alright; so many of these people are just moping around There's no real joy in this screenplay that's for sure The ending is pretty unsatisfying too but it does avoid some huge cliches

This movie cracks me up. Billy Baldwin as the male escort with a heart of gold. Dumped girlfriend hiring him to get her girlfriend back. Joe Pantoliano as the the pimp! This film is a mess and I found it entertaining.

enjoyed the scenes between 'connie' and 'joe'; their odd lil friendship kept the movie afloat and 'cute'. the two of 'em definitely have greater chemistry than joe/ellen or connie/ellen.
