Original has better acting, which feels so natural, also better looking actors which actually match their characters. Even the prince looks handsome, not like the one they picked for this movie. Original is Czech Republic version and is absolutely amazing, 10/10. This one sucks. Acting is so lame and fake. Adding gay people to that movie is outrageous! Spoiling the whole movie completely. They honestly had to ruin it, as they always do now in every movie. See more Catherine B @RT27622513 04/04/2025 Yes, kind of cheesy, but it's Cinderella after all. I really liked the new take on the plot. Here you have the same Cinderella in the same distress with her evil Stepmother (who, I might add, gave a wickedly satisfying performance). Instead of a fairy godmother, this Cinderella takes advantage of the gifts from three magic acorns that gave her the strength to follow through with love and destiny. Because it was a new take, I have to admit that I was invested in the way the plot played out. Gorgeous scenery backdrop, and a strong female lead. Best film I've ever seen? No. But certainly a film I would show my grandchildren, especially my granddaughters. See more ellie h @RT18346186 10/31/2024 I really liked it for what it is! Sure, it’s a kids’ movie, so it’s a bit cheesy, but honestly, it’s my favorite Cinderella adaptation. The storyline is easier to get into, and the scenery is gorgeous. The dubbed voices are the only thing that took me out of it. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised!
