Mabel McElliott New York Daily News May [Mary Pickford's] youth be deathless! May 17, 2021 Full Review Robert E. Sherwood LIFE Through the Back Door is a big improvement over The Love Light, but it is unworthy of the star who adorns it. Oct 5, 2021 Full Review Harriette Underhill New York Tribune It is so silly and so cheap that we found it difficult to place the blame where it belonged and not pass on our resentment to Mary Pickford, the star. We are. quite sure, however, that when Mary did it she must have sighed resignedly. Nov 6, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member another vehicle 4 america's sweetheart Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Another impressive film from the timeless silent star Mary Pickford. This comedy/drama really shows her versatility as an actress & how truly talented she was. The story of a Belgian tram like girl moving to the US with all the troubles that come with it...this film was also partially directed by Jack Pickford Mary's brother. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This mother and daughter drama is a predictable, yet sweet, story. Pickford does an okay job in a role she often played. The rest of the cast seem to be possibly non-actors, with the exception of Menjou, of course. Overall, it's an okay movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
