Audience Member One of the greatest documentaries ever created, take us on a journey from a himalayan village to a San Francisco hospital to show the influence of the buddhist philosophy contained in early medieval text "Bardo Thodrol" that is supposed to guide a dying man in his trek through the universe. The film is beatifully narrated by Leonard Cohen and has ambient pictures of Ladakh environments. The film creates an aura of calmness and eternal peace - mainly becouse of the wise narrations of Bardo Thodrol itself. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Leonard Cohen's voice helps make this a beautiful chronicle of some very personal moments within a Ladakh village. Part 1 is better than Part 2. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
