Jokes should be simple and easy to understand for a mass audience. Delivery should be loud, clear, and reasonably paced. Finally, the contents should be relatable on some level. Hello Again fails at all of these.

Comedy should involve humor, Tig's, jokes don't fail for the simply reason she doesn't say anything that could be considered a joke. Her monologue, reminds me of when I was a kid, and I would hear my mom rattle on the phone to one of her friends about the most inane things. Why would anybody wanna know every boring detail of your daily life?

I love Tig and everything she does, but this special included stories I'd already heard before and (spoiler alert) the grand finale of this show is just her banging on a piano for 10 minutes telling us she can't play the piano. Seemed like she ran out of material and asked her kids to write the last 10 minutes.

It's like most standup specials, a lot of tangential anecdotes. But of such relatable and universal experiences, I never would have thought I'd hear them put in such a funny way that it would hit so hard.
