I can’t rate this movie highly enough. I wish I could give it 10 stars. The acting of the children in this movie is flawless. If I remember correctly, none of them were really actors. The story is a realistic blend of brutal reality and fantasy or supernatural. Though an English-dubbed version is out there I highly recommend watching the Spanish language one with subtitles. It’s one of the most profoundly moving and beautiful films I’ve ever seen. One of my all-time favorites. If you don’t care for watching foreign movies with subtitles, I get it, but make an exception for this one. You will not regret it. 🐅🐅🐅

It's decent but it totally doesn't belong at the top of the RT Spanish horror list, as it's not actually a horror. It's barely a fairy tale. Not sure what it is tbh

This facinating film about the connection between crime and childhood grabs your attention and never lets go. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is that the lighting was bad so I had to depend on Wikipedia to understand what was happening for some important scenes.
