Valerie Anne Autostraddle Overall the movie was a cute, fun time that coordinates perfectly with its fellow horror comedies, with less gore and genuine scares than Bodies Bodies Bodies, but more gays and heart than its fraternal twin, Totally Killer. Nov 8, 2024 Full Review Ben Travis Empire Magazine Destined to be forgotten the minute it’s finished, Time Cut is a passable addition to the slash-up genre – acceptable Halloween fare for the fright-challenged, or anyone with a soft spot for the music of Hilary Duff. Rated: 3/5 Nov 6, 2024 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com There’s so little “fun” here, feeling as if everyone is merely fulfilling an obligation. Rated: 1/4 Nov 1, 2024 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files This is a premise that should result in a fun, culture clash style with the hero having to go old school to save a loved one. This underwhelming effort probably needed a bit more time fine-tuning the script and embracing the genre. Rated: 4/10 Dec 22, 2024 Full Review Alejandro Turdó Hoy Sale Cine A soulless attempt to capitalize in the recently successful(ish) time traveling slasher subgenre that seems to justify its existence only to fill empty an space in some streaming library, doomed to be forgotten in the near future. Dec 20, 2024 Full Review Trace Thurman Horror Queers Podcast An mess of film that's as inoffensive as it is confused, with questionable period details attempting to make up for a half-baked screenplay. Riley F An absolute rip off of totally killer. But way worse. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/25 Full Review Liam D A movie that in production before Totally Killer but released after. It feels like these “Turning classic movies into slashers” gimmick is losing steam Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/25 Full Review Tim M Wholly unequipped to capitalize on its premise, Time Cut will only waste your own time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/10/25 Full Review Jasmine R Could have ended so much better Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/03/25 Full Review Stephen A Fun movie, fun cast, fun premise, good emotional stakes, awesome setting, wonderful performances, quick watch, and it’s definitely worth watching. People now a days have forgotten the popcorn flick. Every thing doesn’t have to be Shakespeare or Oppenheimer sometimes you just want silly flick. If you are looking for something transformative like “The Substance” this ain’t it, but if you’re looking for a little cheese, and a modern day take on a b movie comedy with big budget production value that you can watch with your preteen and teen kids on movie night it hits a sweet spot. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/28/24 Full Review James L The script is weak and not well researched. She travels back to 2003 and everyone acts like they've never seen a cellphone before. Dude, cellphones were already common in 1995, Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/20/24 Full Review Read all reviews
