Valerie Anne Autostraddle Overall the movie was a cute, fun time that coordinates perfectly with its fellow horror comedies, with less gore and genuine scares than Bodies Bodies Bodies, but more gays and heart than its fraternal twin, Totally Killer. Nov 8, 2024 Full Review Ben Travis Empire Magazine Destined to be forgotten the minute it’s finished, Time Cut is a passable addition to the slash-up genre – acceptable Halloween fare for the fright-challenged, or anyone with a soft spot for the music of Hilary Duff. Rated: 3/5 Nov 6, 2024 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com There’s so little “fun” here, feeling as if everyone is merely fulfilling an obligation. Rated: 1/4 Nov 1, 2024 Full Review Alejandro Turdó Hoy Sale Cine A soulless attempt to capitalize in the recently successful(ish) time traveling slasher subgenre that seems to justify its existence only to fill empty an space in some streaming library, doomed to be forgotten in the near future. Dec 20, 2024 Full Review Trace Thurman Horror Queers Podcast An mess of film that's as inoffensive as it is confused, with questionable period details attempting to make up for a half-baked screenplay. Rated: 2/5 Dec 4, 2024 Full Review Joe Lipsett Horror Queers Podcast There's clear interference on display as very little about the film works. From the screenplay to direction, to period styling and character motivation, Time Cut is a mess Rated: 2/5 Nov 26, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

James L The script is weak and not well researched. She travels back to 2003 and everyone acts like they've never seen a cellphone before. Dude, cellphones were already common in 1995, Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/20/24 Full Review Ahmad Danial Fatanah H Not the best movie, yet not the worst. Enjoyable to watch as it is a very straightfoward movie. Everything is predictable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/18/24 Full Review Justin T This starts a little slowly, then at the time travel ‘reveal’ it gets much more interesting before getting slow again until the finale. I like that she understood that she’d gone back in time really quickly, the viewers already knew so why take ages waiting for the lead character to understand. This is definitely not a horror or a thriller, more like a melodrama with a hint of sci-fi. Some of the acting is weaker. 2003 felt mostly accurate with the odd unrealistic element like how web pages load. Often the ADR felt out of place, like when she said the door won't open before she's really had time to try it in the boat museum. In fact the dialogue editing in general is a mess for a big budget film. I really liked the music, composed and licensed. The editing was serviceable at best. It felt like it was made by a group of twenty somethings with too much money who thought they were making the best film ever. The twist at the end was a big eye roll moment, unbelievably predictable. Even though it’s a very weak film I found it more engaging and charismatic than it deserves. Forgettable and flawed by engaging. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/17/24 Full Review musical_ w Typical teen movie about time travel. But to be honest I liked it. There is nothing groundbreaking there, but it was nice to watch. However, if you want to be scared (this movie is described as a horror) then this movie is not for you Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/12/24 Full Review inta k typical teen movie and time travel one. with slightly surprising ending. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/25/24 Full Review Samuele M Si lascia guardare con facilità ma si intuisce molto già dal trailer. Paradossi temporali e altri cliché troppo prevedibili. Non manca il solito political-correct di netflix ma per una volta viene ben amalgamato alla trama. Finale prevedibile e nessun momento di vera suspense.
