Vivien is a highly accomplished student, with a passion for physics and keen to get into a prestigious American university. She seems to live her own life as a mathematical formula that drives her to look at her own happiness as something to be postponed into the future. Roy, on the other hand, is a troubled and problematic young man who, due to a trauma suffered as a child, sees his desires continually hindered by a past that seems to constantly haunt him. But mathematics too has its variables and as always happens, life manages to weave events together in increasingly surprising and unexpected ways. Indeed, an accident will force our protagonists to come to a stop and reclaim their lives, and finally start living in a present that perhaps will prove to be more exciting than any predefined formula.

Full of wooden performances, stilted dialogue, and a climax so ridiculous you can't help but laugh, Time Is Up is a forgettable mess.

Time Is Up is an example of what happens when filmmakers think that all you need for a romantic drama are some pretty actors and a scenic trip to Italy. It's too bad they forgot about actually making a good movie.

To be honest, the acting in this movie is sub par and that's hard for me to say as i am a fan of Bella Thorne, but watching this movie was hard. i couldn't delve into the movie and lose myself because the acting stood out and i could tell they were reading lines from a script, i love when movies feel like an actual story i can relax into but unfortunately this one was a bust for me. Good idea for a romance movie but just did not hit the mark. Maybe it was editing. Maybe it was the writing. something didn't get enough attention and it shows.

The acting and the dialogues aren't great, but the storyline is alright. It has drama, romance, a love triangle, great shooting locations and hot actors. But even with all that, it isn't too interesting. The acting is quite stiff and the dialogues awkward. But overall it passes the time.
