Nov 19 A boy is locked inside a bank vault and the air is running out. Can anyone get him out in time? Unfortunately, this plot can't help but end in a massive anticlimax. If the boy dies all the rescue efforts have been in vain. If he is rescued, jolly good, but there is nowhere for the film to go after that. Either way, the bank vault is ruined and all its contents will need to be moved to another vault while this one is repaired or rebuilt at massive expense. As it happens they did manage to get the vault open before the time lock switched off. If they hadn't managed it, they obviously would have apparatus standing by to pump oxygen into the vault until it opens automatically. Except that they didn't. And once it is open, someone should have dashed in and carried the boy out. Instead they wasted valuable moments wheeling a stretcher in, putting the boy on it, and wheeling the stretcher out again. Some good performances, but this plot could never make a good film whoever was involved. See more Roy S May 13 Great little movie scripted by Arthur Haley.
