Brandon Stanwyck InSession Film The plot is not the main event here, anyway. The craft of Eleanor Lambert, Claudia Black, and Xxavier Polk are infinitely more arresting than the script they're working with... If you like despondency and depression, here's an indie effort that doses it out in large quantities. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 29, 2021 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X Unfortunately, Time Now is one of those movies that too often tries to be mysterious at the expense of character insights and even coherence. Consequently, it is not especially fulfilling. Jeffrey P Early on it is not abundantly clear what has happened, how exactly characters are connected, or why any of this is relevant. That goes on for too long and before any of that is better explained it starts getting too fast and loose with the plot, interjecting more characters and scenes than are needed. With a setup like that, a film really needs to deliver in the back half and... this fell woefully short of doing so and the end came nowhere close to justifying the means. Could have been cut down to a 90 second PSA. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/26/24 Full Review KB B Yeah it dawdled on and on and was just not very good. I should have listened to the audience reviews and skipped this garbage. 71% hmmmmmm Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Pie C Boring, slow motion nonentity Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/10/24 Full Review Jim H As bad as they get... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/29/23 Full Review marc m If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. It was an awful movie, in my opinion. What a waste of time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review james s I think that this movie was...just there. I wasn't in any way finding myself identifying with or sympathetic to the main character, she was off putting. Also, the choice of scoring/sound effects late in the movie were extremely wrong for the type of film and feel. The music gave an indication of deep horror and suspense but that wasn't what was happening in the film itself. It was the discovery of a dumb decision, leading to a dumb and extremely overreactive response by the main character. Left me with that feeling of having wasted some time with no payoff.
