Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies While it’s technically an action thriller, finding a fitting category for it is a challenge. That’s because this confection is all over the map, attempting to be a little bit of everything but ultimately landing nowhere. Rated: 1/5 Sep 30, 2025 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media This jumbled, nonsensical action movie feels like it went through a shredder and was then reassembled with tape and glue, with some pieces left behind; the result is nearly unwatchable. Rated: 1/5 Sep 24, 2025 Full Review Frank Swietek One Guy's Opinion An unmitigated disaster... it feels like something that’s truncated yet still overlong, desperately thrown together from clumps of material that Furman has tried to link together by the addition of those inanely soapy voice-over bursts. Rated: F Sep 18, 2025 Full Review Jonathan W. Hickman The Newnan Times-Herald The storyline is relatively straightforward, but the telling is incoherent. It’s the most indescribably odd and bizarre movie with an A-list cast that I’ve seen in a long time. Rated: 2/10 Sep 17, 2025 Full Review M.N. Miller FandomWire Tin Soldier wastes an A-list cast on one of the most incoherent and flawed action films in recent memory Rated: 1/10 Sep 14, 2025 Full Review Mike Patrick MovieJawn ...the range of emotions I felt while watching it: A determined focus to enjoy a movie that has so much promise, followed by confused shock, and eventually an inability to keep my head up and my hair turning grey. Andy G I would like the time I spent watching half of this film back. What a mess. It saddens me to admit that DeNero is a one trick pony and if he cant play the same character he always plays the performance suffers. I thought Eastwood and Arnezeder were a good match on camera but the script just sucked. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/13/25 Full Review John S I can't believe Jamie Foxx went from Any Given Sunday to Collateral to this...... OMG. I don't care for DeNiro anymore but it doesn't matter in this flick. Soooooo bad. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/25 Full Review benjamin F super fun show. not sure what all the fuss is about. 90 minutes of engaged viewing Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/30/25 Full Review Stephen C Success in 1 hour and 26 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/30/25 Full Review TONY I won't watch no movie with De Niro in it. He's a burned out actor with a loud mouth. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/16/25 Full Review Jack O Tin Soldier (2025) is a spectacle masterpiece, but it’s not a clean one — and that’s the point. The film is a mess, cryptic and jagged, carrying the logic of a fairy tale told through the haze of a dream. Dreams are never neat; they’re fragmented, contradictory, unsettling. Here, that dreamlike quality collides with the raw weight of PTSD, giving the film a pulse that’s both chaotic and painfully human. Explosions and spectacle hit hard, but so do the silences — the broken memories, the fractured truths, the uneasy shifts between reality and nightmare. It’s an epic that doesn’t just dazzle the eyes; it claws at the mind. A strange, bruised, unforgettable achievement that dares to embrace beauty in disorder.
