Tin Soldier is an inspiring film — mostly because it inspired me to question every decision that led me to watching it. Truly incredible how a movie with this cast managed to deliver the excitement level of a damp sponge. The action scenes? Blink and you won’t miss them, because there basically aren’t any. The story? Imagine someone explaining a dream they barely remember, for two hours, in slow motion. If boredom were an Olympic sport, this movie would take gold, silver, and bronze. I didn’t watch Tin Soldier. I survived it.

The fact that a streaming service is playing this waste of time is extremely irritating. The actors should have forced it to be canceled to save face.

I would like the time I spent watching half of this film back. What a mess. It saddens me to admit that DeNero is a one trick pony and if he cant play the same character he always plays the performance suffers. I thought Eastwood and Arnezeder were a good match on camera but the script just sucked.
