Peter C Horrible from start to finish. Production value horrible. Screenplay written by a 10 year old. The budget must have been about 15 bucks. Not once did they seem in any more danger than some kids in a park ground with a Starbucks around the corner. She breaks through the ice and is under water for about 30 seconds and when she is “rescued” by her worthless boyfriend her hat is completely dry. When they had to cross the river why didn’t they tie the food bag to the supplies bundle that easily made it across rather than have her casually loop it around her wrist. Again, when they met on the other side they were both completely dry. No wonder they didn’t end up together in real life. She probably dumped that wimp the moment they got home. Alyssa Milano did pretty good. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/20/24 Full Review Barry B I honestly think a 6 year old child who grew up in the city would have known what to do more than depicted in this show/ starving yet have a gun and a state full of wildlife; weather not that bad / used matches to burn a dish in the tent instead of building a fire/ smoke would help be located/ eating toothpaste ? Living in wilderness without radio or knowledge how to eat from land and build a fire just isn't reasonable / so many mistakes made it seems fictional/ cannot believe they had no more skill than they did/ kudos for pushing on but it seems the majority of hardships were self inflicted and avoidable/ didnt have to be hard/ it's not believable that anyone would be so I'll informed and prepared yet based on true story? Truly glad they were ok but wow/ Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/20/23 Full Review Edward K Nice happy ending, but this guy was a fool. He did everything wrong in terms of survival. And he didn't marry the girl???? WTH? I guess the moral of the story is- don't go following crazy dreams with fools. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/04/23 Full Review Audience Member These people are heroes, I dont know how they did it, this film really touched me and made me want to know about the real people.
