Steve D Covers a lot of the same ground as the original but still works. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This was refreshingly good. I love this sequel. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Directed by Peter Bogdonavich. A very close second to the original To Sir With Love, the film is mostly OUT of the classroom. Still, about growing up, Poitier gives a commanding performance AGAIN. Like its first part, it deals with social issues in an inner city school. An updated version of the classic To Sir with Love, this film is set in the slums of Chicago with far more dangerous students! Gang fights, switch blades, its all here and far more dangerours than Sir ever faced in 1960 London!
