12/04/2012 A little cheesy, but cute. See more 05/29/2011 Miss-matched family should read miss-guided film-making. Poor, uninteresting characters wallowing about around their home town does not make a semblance of a film. See more 04/01/2011 Great acting from most of the characters. See more 08/19/2010 I love this movie to death it is my favorite Christmas movie it's awesome and I met one of the actors who was in it See more 05/23/2010 What a terrible movie. Unless you watched the extras, the viewer would never know there are two families here. All the bickering and lack of humor in this film made it barely watchable, saved only by the talents of Julia Duffy and David Ogden Stiers. See more 12/13/2009 This movie was on in the background while I was working on Christmas cards, which I think is its intended function. Having said that, I got drawn into the story, actually laughed out loud during the "live television broadcast debacle", and was greatly amused by some of the dialogue. Duffy is good as the fractured television homemaker, and there are some very good performances from some of the unknown actors portraying the adult children. But, I have to say that it is David Ogden Stiers's understated performance that provided much-needed balance to the story. I'd watch it again. . . at the holiday season. . . if one of the better Christmas movies wasn't on at the same time. See more Read all reviews
