This movie really is underrated. Yes... Tom & Jerry talk, which I think it upset so many traditionalists out there. In my view this was a creative move that actually gives them more opportunities. Making a movie that depends on cartoon gags where the two stay silent would get old fast. While the orphan plot has been used before, you have to remember that this movie was meant for kids. It doesn't have to be in depth that a child wouldn't understand. The music is also catchy, and the old school hand drawn animation is so bueatiful. So give it a try... =)

Not the best Tom and Jerry Movie, but better than the recent one. Story is definitely derivative, but the cast do their best, Richard Kind definitely suited Tom. Songs are hit and miss, but Friends to the End has always been a favourite
