I enjoyed this movie, but I noticed several instances where anyone who had not watched the seasons of the Jack Ryan show on Prime would be lost. It’s like they didn’t have enough content or time to shoot a full season of the show so they decided to make a movie instead. This movie is essentially for fans of the show. They should have done a better job of making it a standalone movie.

The script was a disservice to the actors. The special effects were worse than terrible 1980s super hero movies. 2 stars is for the actors, the movie deserves only 1 star.

Some good acting, but the script is SO lame. They tried way too hard to make moral or political points that were painfully shallow. Almost like the writers are just shallow people so they don't know how inept they are at depth (ex. the light/dark trope). Horrible ending to this Jack Ryan series :-(
