In this new film, Jack Ryan is reluctantly thrust back into the world of espionage when an international covert mission unravels a deadly conspiracy, forcing him to confront a rogue black-ops unit, and the clock is ticking. Do you like ads? Do you like bad dialogue? Do you like tech scenes that make no sense? Do you like a storyline that revolves around finding a stupid server in a stupid under construction tower in midtown Dubai where a stupid terrorist cell holds profile pictures of their operatives? Do you want to see the Damac logo (Dubai developer that probably paid for the film) for half of the runtime of the movie? Then strap in! This waste of time movie is for you!

Kinda weird for things to come down to a server in an unfinished building being the end of the world. Decent action - but development and tension were lacking.

Whilst the series was great to watch, this movie was just 'meh'. The plot was terrible, uninspiring, unengaging. The female MI6 agent bringing nothing to the storyline. Mikes 'backdoor' action towards the end of the movie was laughable. The whole thing was weak, such a disappointment.

Because the script demands it, a server containing top-secret information is sitting in an unfinished construction site and apparently can neither be transported, deleted, nor shut down? So it has to be defended with armed force. Yeah, sounds logical. And seriously: what the hell even is ‘Starling’? I love Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, but this movie honestly leaves me completely baffled.
