Janie (Ginger Rogers) is a telephone operator who is caught up in the lines of love. Three men are after her hand in marriage: car salesman Tom (George Murphy), Chicago millionaire Dick (Alan Marshal) and auto mechanic Harry (Burgess Meredith). This felt like a comedy remake of Kitty Foyle with one extra suitor added. Very odd humor and attempts at satire. Ginger is fine as always, but the script fails her often.

This is a comical story, yet I felt that the plot moved too slowly, likely because there wasn't a whole lot to fill it out. Nevertheless, I stayed to find out what would happen in the end with Janie's three fiances.
