There’s nothing particularly groundbreaking or envelope-pushing in this set, but then again, sometimes you just want to hear an affable guy telling embarrassing or slightly offensive stories about himself and his family. Go to Full Review

Mark T @Tdmr1312 Dec 29 Not very funny..... The only offensive thing in this show is the shockingly small amount of humor that is abundantly lacking ... How did this guy get to where he is to merit this amount of attention ? See more DDDl M @RT34063651 05/30/2025 Everything this guy appears on is just not funny. See more matthias s @Thescreenasvor 09/24/2024 *Tom Segura: Sledgehammer* is my first dive into his stand-up, and I wasn’t disappointed. Segura's storytelling shines, making you want to hang on to every word as he takes you through his personal and humorous anecdotes. While there were only a few big laughs, the special delivered plenty of chuckles, and that kept it entertaining. The highlight for me was the hilarious bit about his mom doing drugs—unexpected and delivered with his signature deadpan style. Segura has this laid-back, conversational approach that draws you in, making the whole set feel natural and engaging. I’m definitely curious to check out more of his work after this solid introduction. See more Warrick C @RT79568497 07/10/2024 Mostly puerile potty humour See more Jameson B @RT44322836 01/14/2024 Tom was never great but he has also never been this bad either. Just painful See more Jeff F @RT08810885 12/27/2023 Maybe I'm just too "poor" to "get" his humor now. I've REALLY liked his previous specials. The man on stage now isn't the same man I use to like. With his out of control ego, I feel like he may not be putting in the effort on his material. The bit about touching p3nises with his son in the shower went on for way too long and just made me feel uncomfortable. And i like messed up humor. Anthony Jeselnik is an all time favorite. But that just got uncomfortable. Some of the bits were okay. Of all of Rogans whipping boys, Segura is only second to Ari Shaffir. And yes, I think it's plausible Tom may actually read this one day and he needs to know Ari is the better comedian. And SHAME on you for throwing Ari under the bus like a snowflake when he made those Kobe Bryant jokes. "BeCaUsE yOu LiKe BaSkEtBaLl" and it hurt your feelings even though it totally exposed you as a hypocrite with the stances you supposedly have on comedy. New Tom sucks. See more Read all reviews
